Mise-En-Scene:
- Majority of the band if not all wear black or wear mostly black clothing throughout the video, black clothing being a stereotypical things to wear for this type of genre, it helps associate its genre to the audience
- The lighting is very low and dim, helping convey its 'emotional' message
- the few teenagers playing as characters in the video are very stereotypically 'rocky' with piercing and the long black hair.
Cinematography:
- there are a lot of pans of the singer while he sings, also showing the band behind him, showing the quite hectic type of music this is
- Majority of the shots are close ups on the bands or actors faces, showing there facial expressions in their scenario, thus being a emotional song it helps the songs cause.
Editing:
- The few shots where the teenagers begin to scream, the song it edited to the shattering glass from the car windows and wine glass, thus giving it a more powerful effect on us.
- At the beginning of the video there is some rhythmic editing, while the music builds up they how the band one by one until the music properly begins and it cuts to the lead singer
Performance:
- throughout the whole video the actors and band do not smile, but have very serious facial expressions and keep them throughout, this helping to portray the mood of the overall song to the audience
